UBC's newest family housing initiative, Westbrook Village, encompasses 110 acres, along the Wesbrook Mall, located south of West 16th Avenue and bounded by Pacific Spirit Regional Park and the Greenway.

Between June and October, UBC Farms offers 250 varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers, mostly at its farmer's markets. UBC Farm also offers incredible programs and camps for kids, including the Intergenerational Landed Learning Project (throughout the school year), the FarmWonders spring and summer camp program (children ages 6 to 12 years), and the FarmDiscovery School Tours, which offer student groups the chance see and discuss a working organic farm in action.
